Welcome to the Medieval Studies Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Exciting things are happening here in Medieval Studies. Our Graduate Colloquia bring graduate students and faculty together for monthly discussions; our lectures and colloquia are occasions for intellectual exchange among the larger community of medievalists; both our faculty and our graduate students registered for the concurrent degree in Medieval Studies are engaged in wide-ranging research. Please also visit our electronic resources page, and enjoy the images taken from manuscripts in the Bancroft Library.
